What is the Beckham Law?
The Special Tax Regime for Displaced Workers, commonly known as the Beckham Law, is a tax benefit in Spain that allows foreign professionals to be taxed as non-residents for up to six years.
Instead of paying the standard progressive tax rates (which can go up to 47%), eligible individuals pay a flat rate of 24% on all Spanish-sourced income up to €600,000. It was famously named after footballer David Beckham, who was one of the first high-profile individuals to use it.
